There is a surprising amount of fiber in berries

Berries are surprisingly rich in fiber. Here is how they compare to other fiber-rich fruits.

  • Raspberries have 8 g of fiber per cup. That is twice the amount of fiber compared to a cup of oranges.

  • Blackberries have 8 g of fiber per cup. That is twice the amount of fiber compared to a cup of oranges.

  • Blueberries have 3.6 g of fiber per cup. That is about 40% more fiber than a cup of mangoes.

  • Strawberries have 3 g of fiber per cup. That is the same amount of fiber as a cup of apples.

Berries are an excellent healthy snack with many benefits beyond being a good source of fiber.
